MORDEC SPM SYSTEM
MORDEC SPM System including the Chain Stopper, Smit Bracket, Towing Chock and Chafing Chain is designed in compliance with 2009 OCIMF Guidelines.
Under the 2009 OCIMF Recommendations, all conventional Oil Carriers are to be fitted with the Single Point Mooring (SPM) system, enabling them to be moored by the bow to single point moorings or moored in tandem to FPSO/FSO terminals
Single Point Mooring (SPM) allows the handling of liquid cargo such as petroleum products for tanker ships to load and unload crude oil and refined products from inshore and offshore oilfields or refineries.
